Bio: Margaret brings more than fifteen years of interior design experience to her business. After receiving her Bachelor of Interior Design from The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, she worked at an architecture firm before pivoting her aesthetic and technical expertise into founding River and Lime.
In Brief: Margaret likes beautiful things that last.
Recent Highlight: Working on the team for the Transfer Telluride build. The outcome was a stunning series of residences informed by historic architecture that brought $73 million in sales.
Josi Chavez
Bio: Josi holds a BID in interior design from The University of Arkansas – Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design. She has studied abroad in Italy, with a focus on how to create aesthetically pleasing spaces that foster connections between people.
In Brief: Josi is a thoughtful powerhouse.
Recent Highlight: Helping to bring Sam’s restaurant to life. Located on top of a mountain, accessible only by ski-lift, the team had to consider and plan every last detail. From showcasing the natural beauty of the mountain to ensuring every design element was physically lifted into the space before mud season, it was a master class in project timing perfection.
Lauren Whiting
Bio: Lauren earned a BS in interior design from Colorado State University and has prior experience in both residential and hospitality design. She has a passion for incorporating natural textures and creating designs that harmonize with their environment.

Recent Highlight: Researching and designing innovative solutions for a net-zero mountain resort—including partnering with vendors to originate prototypes for products that don’t exist like working fireplaces that aren’t reliant on gas appliances.
Lucy Schuessler
Bio: Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She has years of professional experience in the financial services industry. Her meticulous focus and dedication to detail is evident in her management of everything financial and logistical.
